Mgr - Tax Systems Senior Developer

Details:Responsibilities This position is responsible for the development of end-to-end application solutions to support the process automation and reporting initiatives within the Tax Department, along with the ongoing monitoring, support, and maintenance of previously implemented solutions. Current responsibilities include extensive hands-on coding in a MS SQL Server 2005 environment, management and design of heavy business logic within a T-SQL framework, database design work, user interface design involving both Microsoft Office tools and C# web development, and enterprise data solutions utilitizing Business Objects to support the data workflow, data validation, ETL manipulation of data, and reporting needs. The position will work for and directly interface with personnel within the Tax Department, and will also interact with other departments within Finance, members of the IT organization, and outside software vendors. Future responsibilities could include designing a department-wide data warehouse model, using cube model technologies through Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, and designing desktop applications in C#. The role of the Tax Process & Data Management group is to advance the use of technology within the Tax Department to drive process efficiency and to improve the availability, accuracy, and security of the data used by the department. A primary focus is placed on managing the large, data-intensive processes within Tax, such as the reporting of fixed asset detail, billing records, General Ledger information, and other processes involving large volumes of data and highly complex business logic. Because of its unique blend of technology expertise and extensive experience with Tax and Accounting processes and data, this group is able to respond rapidly with effective solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of the business processes within the Tax Department. Our initiatives are unique and advanced in that our users are actively a part of the Agile workflow process (including the final data produced) and that the data produced in the designed systems interact directly with and influence the data and processes within other source systems in the company. This position will require a thorough knowledge of database concepts and SQL coding, including database structure design, creation of tables and views, management of table relationships and data integrity, complex queries and stored procedures, large-scale data update processes, and numerous other advanced database programming concepts. A working knowledge of object-oriented web programming will be beneficial as our applications move from a Microsoft Access environment to C#. A strong knowledge of data warehousing design and concepts will also serve well for future projects, including ETL design, star and snowflake schemas, OLAP modeling, and report design and deployment. The position will also be involved in designing effective workflow-driven user interface components to facilitate maintenance of data and reporting. Details:Job Description:The Sales Executive D2D (Door-to-Door) is an entry level field sales job responsible for acquiring new residential customers within an assigned geographic area, knocking on 30 to 40 doors per day. Working as a Sales Executive - D2D, you will visit potential customers at their primary residence and review their current telecommunication preferences with the intent to win back, sell new, or upgrade existing services. Additional Responsibilities: Meets and exceeds sales objectives by going door to door in neighborhoods selling Consumer products.Receive leads for a specific geographic area, usually zip code based.Conducts effective marketing and sales presentations.Responsible for order placement through a third party vendor by making calls at customer premise.Manage adherence to contract terms, policies and procedures.Tracks and reports production through established reporting procedures.Schedule may require evening, weekends and holidays.
